They understood then, as we do now, what it means to be an American. Most importantly, they understood that there was nothing more important than to show gratitude to those who have fought for all we hold dear. My eternal tribute to the guardians of America is This Is Why We Stand. Every name, every story, and every example of American courage will be remembered forever.
